Move from a monthly plan to a lifetime licence
What the upgrade costs, when the lifetime licence starts, and why nothing is charged twice.
01Start the upgrade
In ClipHearth 1.2.4 and later, open the ClipHearth license window from the licence card at the bottom of the sidebar and click Upgrade to lifetime. On any version, open cliphearth.com/upgrade and paste your licence key - the page finds your plan and shows the date your current month is paid through.
02What you pay
The normal lifetime price, once. There is no separate upgrade price and no discount, because you keep the month you already paid for.
03When the lifetime licence starts
The day the period you have already paid for ends. Until then you keep using the subscription as usual. Those days are not refunded and nothing is charged again afterwards - we cancel the monthly charge for you.
04Your key does not change
The same activation key stays on the same computer, so there is nothing to re-enter. In the ClipHearth license window, click Refresh if you want to see the new plan straight away instead of waiting for the next licence check.
05More computers
Once the upgrade is paid, you can add computers to the licence for 12 € each, up to 10, even before the lifetime part starts. A monthly plan on its own stays on one computer.
06If you change your mind
The 14-day money-back guarantee covers the upgrade. A refund deactivates the lifetime licence, and we give you back the subscription days that were still unused when you upgraded. We do that by hand, so allow us a little time.
