Activate your licence key
Where to paste the key, what the ClipHearth license window tells you, and what happens on a second computer.
01Open the ClipHearth license window
Click the licence card at the bottom of the sidebar - during the trial it reads Free trial 3/3 - or Get a license next to the trial count on Home. At the first start, I already have a license key in the welcome window opens the same place. The window shows your plan, the device, and, for a subscription, the date it is paid through.
02Paste the key and press Activate
The key arrives by e-mail right after checkout and is also shown on the confirmation page. Paste the whole thing into the Activation key field and press Activate. The first activation needs an internet connection.
03After activation
While you use the app, it confirms the licence with our server. Without a connection a lifetime licence keeps working for up to 40 tasks or 30 days, and a monthly plan for up to 15 tasks or 7 days; after that it needs to go online once to confirm again. A renewal made on the website is picked up on its own, and Refresh in the ClipHearth license window does it immediately. A wrong clock on the computer does not cost you the licence: the window says when the time is set earlier than the last confirmation, and Refresh online puts it right.
04Changing computers
A licence key activates as many computers as it was bought for. A lifetime licence starts with one, and you can add more for 12 € each, up to 10, at cliphearth.com/add-computers; the same key then works on each of them. If you replace your machine, write to us from the e-mail address you used at checkout and we'll move the licence over. A computer that support removed from a licence comes back only through support, and until then it says This license no longer works on this computer. Please contact support.
