Quit, sleep, or shut down when the queue is done
The Queue can quit ClipHearth, put the computer to sleep, or shut it down once the last job has finished.
01Pick what happens
Open the Queue. When everything is done offers Do nothing, Quit ClipHearth, Put the computer to sleep, and Shut down the computer. It happens once, after the last download, conversion, and subtitle job, and goes back to Do nothing after a restart.
02A minute to change your mind
After the last job a countdown runs for a minute, and you can stop it. Recordings that are still running count as jobs, so a radio station you are recording keeps the computer awake until you click Stop and Save.
03On a Mac: allow it once
The first time ClipHearth shuts the computer down, macOS asks whether ClipHearth may control System Events. Allow it; you can change your mind later under System Settings › Privacy & Security › Automation. Without that permission the shutdown does not happen.
04On Linux
Sleep and shutdown go through systemd. Depending on the distribution, the system may ask for your password first.
