Your first three tasks
ClipHearth runs without a licence for three tasks on your device. Here's a sensible way to spend them.
01One: capture something you're allowed to keep
ClipHearth opens on Home. Paste the address of a video you own or are authorized to keep into Paste a link or search the web and press Go, or click Browse a site and open the page in the built-in browser. Once the Media detector capsule beside the address bar turns green with Video found, press Download and pick a quality in Choose video quality. The job appears in the Queue with speed and time remaining, and the finished file lands in Completed and under Recent on Home.
02Two: convert it
In Completed, every file has a row of buttons under it. The Converter one (Open this file in the Converter) opens the Converter wizard with the file already chosen and walks you through format and quality - a good test is turning a video into MP3 to hear how the audio extraction behaves.
03Three: edit it
The Editor button in the same row (Open this file in the Editor) opens the file in the Editor. Trim a few seconds off and export. The export is written as a new file; your original is never changed.
04What you can do without spending a task
Browsing, stream detection, previewing files, changing settings, and looking around the Converter and Editor are all free. Screenshots and screen recordings up to 3 minutes never count, however many you take, and neither does Test 5 s. Only a download, a conversion, an export, or a recording longer than 3 minutes counts, and a video that Following downloads for you is a download like any other. A shared box is not part of the trial: every computer in a box needs a licence.
