Get subtitles along with a download
Switch on Add subtitles in the quality picker and the subtitles arrive with the video: the site's own when it has them, otherwise made on your computer.
01Find the SUBTITLES row
Download opens Choose Video Quality, and its SUBTITLES row is Off unless you changed the default. Add subtitles switches it on for this download only.
02Pick a language the site already has
SUBTITLES IN lists the languages, and the ones marked on the site already exist there. That is the simplest case: the site's subtitles are saved with the download as they are, with no AI, and it works in the free trial too.
03Or one it does not have
Pick a language the site does not offer and ClipHearth makes it on your computer: it translates the site's subtitles, or recognises the speech when there are none. That part is optional, needs a license and a model, and the line in the row says what will happen and whether a model has to be installed first.
04Choose the output
Add as a track in the video, Save an .srt file next to it, or Burn into the picture, which saves an extra copy with the subtitles drawn in. You can tick more than one.
05Playlists
The playlist window has the same row, and one choice covers the whole batch. The languages each video has are only known once it downloads, so subtitles for playlists need a license; with one, every video uses the site's subtitles when it has them.
06Make it the default, or leave it off
In Settings, the AI Subtitles tab has DEFAULTS. SUBTITLES FOR NEW DOWNLOADS is Off out of the box; switch it to Add subtitles, with your language and outputs, and the quality picker starts with them every time.
